Job Opportunity

The role of an ICT Specialist Teacher is a pivotal position within the educational institution, responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The successful candidate will have a passion for ICT and be able to engage students in their area of interest.

Key Responsibilities

  • To teach ICT subjects to students across various year levels, incorporating literacy and numeracy skills where appropriate.
  • To plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluate the impact of learning and teaching programs on student growth.
  • To monitor and assess student learning in ICT, using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback on student growth and achievement.
  • To establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student learning, agency, wellbeing, and engagement.
  • To reflect upon practice and engage in professional learning to continually improve the quality of teaching.
