Industrial Process Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Process Engineer to join our team in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to build deep technical experience early in your career while gaining exposure to multiple industries.

This role will involve working on industrial process and energy projects across Australia, supported by our larger national network. You will be hands-on from day one, running calculations, modelling industrial systems, and contributing to reports that are client-facing and high-impact.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Using modelling software to run heat and mass balances, pipeline and equipment sizing, and process simulations
  • Developing and updating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Collaborating with the QLD and Sydney teams to understand client scope, deliverables, and schedules
  • Writing technical reports and presenting findings to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Gaining exposure to project phases from concept design through to detailed engineering

Requirements:

You must have:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years' industry experience – ideally in industrial processing, piping systems, food & beverage, or energy
  • Experience performing complex process calculations
  • Solid understanding of process flows, modelling tools (e.g., ASPEN HYSYS, FluidFlow, SYSCAD), and equipment sizing
  • An interest in continuous improvement and real-world impact
  • The ability to manage your own time and priorities while contributing to a team
