Job Title: Industrial Process Engineer

About the Role:

As a skilled engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of industrial processes. Your key focus areas include safety protocols, site reliability, team management, and customer relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement robust safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to develop effective routines and address any breakdowns that may occur.
  • Liaise with customers, regulatory bodies, and union representatives to provide timely support and address their concerns.
  • Develop operational standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance against specific targets.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising quality or safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Previous experience in the industrial gas industry, preferably in CO2 operations.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable standards, regulations, and occupational health and safety guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage competing demands and priorities.
