We are seeking an autonomous and self-motivated HR professional to join our global organization and make connections with the local community. Based at our Launceston factory, the HR role will add value to the Lactalis business through the provision of proactive and customer-focused HR services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive leadership development among senior and front-line leaders to deliver the right tools for the future.
  • Develop initiatives to improve employee retention and development through local and national programs.
  • Provide effective HR/IR services to all operational employees using a hands-on and interactive approach.
  • Coach line managers in performance management issues and development plans.
  • Manage and coordinate all recruitment with central support from the Center of Excellence.
  • Future-proof our site by managing relationships with unions and external parties.
  • Coach line managers in practices to engage and align employees.
  • Provide HR generalist support.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have solid HR experience demonstrating leadership, conflict resolution, influential presentation, and negotiation skills. In return, Lactalis will offer you a challenging and enjoyable role working with employees who have passion and commitment.
