Job Title: Technical Support Specialist for Edinburgh Festivals

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical support specialist to provide technical expertise and assistance to our team during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth operation throughout the festival. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to think creatively and prioritize tasks efficiently.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing technical support and guidance to our team, including setting up and maintaining technical equipment.
  • Scheduling and supervising all shows' tech runs during the festival.
  • Coordinating with the hiring manager to recruit and train three venue technicians to assist in duties and work regular technical shifts throughout the festival.
  • Ensuring the venue complies with health and safety legislation on the technical side.
