About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Rebar Detailing Specialist to join our team at InfraBuild. As a key member of our detailing team, you will be responsible for designing, modelling, and documenting reinforcing steel for major construction projects in Australia.

You will work closely with our customers and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each project. This role will be based out of our site at Eagle Farm or our partner site at Meadowbrook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver accurate BIM models using Revit
  • Implement design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle
  • Streamline workflows using BIM technology to improve project efficiency
  • Understand project objectives and advise on engineering solutions
  • Engage with clients and design engineers to achieve optimal outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a modeller
  • Experience in steel reinforcement detailing
  • Technical mindset with an ability to read and understand technical drawings to create models
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A diploma, certificate or degree in civil/structural engineering, drafting, architecture or animation
  • Experience in modelling software such as Revit, TEKLA, Autocad or similar
