We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead our Lines of Credit business, driving innovation and growth through customer-centric product development.
As a key member of our Simple Credit Crew, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy and growth agenda of our lines of credit product, including the CommBank AdvancePay product.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and define the vision and roadmap for the product, gaining buy-in from senior stakeholders.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the roadmap, including key product governance activities and processes.
- Apply expertise to support opportunity analysis, prioritization, and trade-offs, exploring strategies to achieve business outcomes.
- Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations.
- Act as the voice of the business, translating it for the team.
- Drive project inception and exploration to ensure alignment of product strategy.
- Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives.
- Identify, articulate, and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.
- Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
- Lead the Squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.
- Maintain a well-prioritized Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
- Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure prioritization is understood and agreed to.
- Manage the Squad's performance to defined objectives, including OKR tracking.
- Experience in product and feature development, including building innovative customer experiences.
- Experience in delivering strong outcomes in an Agile environment.
- Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders on strategic priorities.
- Advanced ability to drive multiple initiatives concurrently and execute on a roadmap of initiatives.
- Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills across all levels of the business.
- Proven problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong ability to be customer-centric and think differently about strategies to grow the portfolio.
- Strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to deal with competing priorities and prioritization decisions.
- Strong credit product knowledge is preferred, with experience managing banking products highly regarded.
- Ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions.
- Tertiary qualification in a Business/Commerce degree is preferred.
- Risk Mindset - All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks.
