About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead the digital payments experience for our CommBank App and NetBank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the product roadmap, delivering digital payment experiences, and ensuring alignment with our business technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the product roadmap for digital payment experiences, with a focus on building once, using many.
  • Lead delivery of digital payment experiences, inspiring your team from ideation to execution and beyond.
  • Understand the business technology strategy and build experiences aligned to the future vision and capability.
  • Act as the voice of the business and customer, translating their needs for the team to coordinate a 'one-team' approach to problem-solving.
  • Provide clear lines of communication with stakeholders on the product roadmap and prioritization decisions.
  • Identify, articulate, and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.
  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
  • Lead and develop the product roadmap, engaging with senior stakeholders and business units to manage delivery.
  • Lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain a healthy prioritized backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure prioritization is understood and agreed to.
  • Manage the squad's performance to defined objectives, including OKR tracking.
  • Be accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations.
  • Understand how to measure experience initiatives, using data and insights to inform optimization and future opportunities.
About You

We're looking for someone with strong experience as a Product Owner, with a clear knowledge of payments and experience leading the delivery of digital payments experiences. You should be passionate about building digital payment experiences and driving the next evolution of our digital architecture.

You will have experience designing and executing digital experiences to deliver business and customer value, as well as a strong level of pragmatism to balance strategic initiatives with keep-the-lights-on work.

We operate in a hybrid working environment, with a 50% blend between being in the office and working remote.
