Job Title:

Advanced Data Architecture Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and efficient stream-processing architectures.
  • Provide technical implementation support and hands-on expertise deploying Apache Flink and Ververica's platform in pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate and showcase solution feasibility and performance.
  • Offer architectural guidance, conduct in-depth technical reviews, and promote best practices in stream processing.
  • Deliver professional services engagements, including technical training sessions, workshops, and performance optimization consulting.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Apache Flink, real-time stream processing, and distributed architectures.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, reference architectures, best-practice guides, and whitepapers.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  2. 7+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or solutions architecture.
  3. At least 5 years of experience working with distributed systems, data engineering, or software architecture, including a minimum of 2 years specializing in Apache Flink.
  4. Strong proficiency in Java; additional experience with Python and SQL is beneficial.
  5. Practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  6. Deep knowledge of cloud-native deployment architectures and experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  7. Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning, monitoring, debugging, and optimizing distributed data processing pipelines.
  8. Proven experience conducting technical workshops, trainings, or delivering professional services directly to customers.
  9. Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex technical environments.
  10. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable conveying technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
