About the Job- Analyze and assess credit applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, risk assessments, and prepare credit proposals for lender panels.
- Challenge or overturn credit decisions when appropriate, using your strong commercial financial acumen.
- Credit Assessment & Proposal:
Analyze complex credit applications and propose them to lender panels. - Operational Execution:
Manage the credit process from intake through to settlement, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, enhance credit risk processes, and implement best practices.
We're looking for someone with proven experience as a Credit Analyst or Underwriter in financial services, preferably in asset finance. You should have strong analytical skills and be able to analyze complex credit applications.
You will also need to have the ability to make informed, timely decisions and challenge existing credit rulings when necessary. A passion for green energy is essential, along with an interest in learning about the decarbonization asset market.
