About this Role

  • Drilling operations must be executed with the utmost care and efficiency.
  • Supervising drilling teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount.
  • The following tasks are essential: soil sampling, core drilling, and borehole installation.
  • Maintaining equipment and adhering to environmental regulations is critical.
  • Correct maintenance of drilling rigs and associated equipment is crucial.
  • Effective interpretation of drilling data and accurate reporting is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills are required for effective collaboration with clients and site personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in geotechnical or environmental drilling is a prerequisite.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities are necessary.
  • A comprehensive understanding of drilling techniques and equipment maintenance is vital.
  • A valid White Card (Construction Induction) and relevant drilling certifications are required.
  • The ability to read and interpret drilling logs and geotechnical reports is essential.
  • Superior communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions are expected.
