Financial Accountant Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing financial organization in a consumer goods sector.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a Financial Accountant to transition into commercial finance as a key business partner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies in our systems and processes, exploring initiatives to eliminate manual or redundant tasks.
  • Develop and maintain reporting templates in Excel and data models to improve financial insights.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred, along with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations, including experience managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements.

The successful candidate will be an analytical and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
