About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Surgical Fellow to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, working closely with our experienced Consultant staff, and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in clinical practice, including outpatient and inpatient day-to-day care, under the direct supervision of nominated Consultant staff.
  • Ensure a high standard of clinical practice among Resident Medical Officers/Interns in the Department/Unit.
  • Organize and implement clinical review programs, including preparation of reports, to ensure quality assurance.
  • Participate in the after-hours emergency on-call roster and assist with postgraduate teaching programs.
  • Contribute to department research programs and take a lead role in designated projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).
  • Completion of specialist orthopaedic surgical training program.
  • Completion of ATLS or similar course.
  • Basic and advanced fracture management courses.
