Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the development of quantum sensing technologies. Our mission is to advance the field of quantum technology and make it more accessible.

The successful candidate will be part of an established team focused on implementing quantum control protocols for various industry sectors.

About the Role

This position requires strong expertise in experimental physics, quantum control engineering, and sensor hardware specialization. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent industry experience in a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quantum control protocols for next-generation atom interferometer-based quantum sensors.
  • Collaborate with experimental physicists, quantum control engineers, and sensor hardware specialists to optimize system performance.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Quantum Sensing Research Division, the Quantum Sensing Engineering Division, and the company more broadly.
  • Perform other duties within your skills and experience or with reasonable training.

Requirements

  • PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in physics, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experimental experience in atom interferometry, cold atomic systems, or quantum sensing in warm atomic vapors.
  • Understanding of dominant performance limits in fieldable systems.
  • Familiarity with the Python programming language for scientific computing (desirable).
