Job Title: Project Officer - Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team in Parramatta CBD. As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for managing a number of specific construction projects, including procurement, quality assurance, and on-site project management support to senior project managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage multiple residential construction projects across NSW, including metro and regional locations, with a focus on quality assurance and on-site project management.
  2. Liaise with diverse stakeholders, including builders, architects, local councils, and ACHPs, to identify and mitigate issues and risks that could cause impediments.
  3. Travel across remote and regional NSW to perform quality inspections on New Build construction sites.
  4. Monitor project delivery milestones and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs and attitudes and of the socio-economic position of Aboriginal people within Australian society.
