Sustainability Director

We are seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Lead to join our team at ACCIONA. This exciting role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the project meets the highest sustainability standards and integrates best practices throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Establish, communicate, and drive implementation of the Project's sustainability aspirations.
- Build, coach, and supervise a high-performing team (including consultants/sub-contractors) to deliver an ISC rating.
- Build and maintain cooperative working relationships with the Client and their representatives.
- Support delivery of innovation and change management.
- Manage and co-ordinate sustainable reporting protocols to meet parent company aspirations and Client obligations.
- Communicate Project sustainability targets and develop a suite of Plans.
- Manage the performance and professional development of the Sustainability Team.
- Provide technical advice and collaborate with design and construction teams to plan, meet, and drive outcomes.
- Co-ordinate the development of training, education, and project improvement opportunities.
- Participate in external stakeholder groups and knowledge sharing across the project's portfolio.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Environmental Science or similar.
- Demonstrated capacity of managing ISCA throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated capacity of managing and achieving a Green Star rating.
- Construction Induction Training (CIT/'White Card', formerly a 'Red Card'), obtained via face-to-face training, not online.
