**Cybersecurity Operations Specialist**: An exciting opportunity to make a real impact in our Security Operations Center (SOC).

You will be responsible for ensuring the detection and resolution of cybersecurity incidents, exposures, and vulnerabilities across all client computing environments within the SOC.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with clients to handle security incident response processes.
  • Responding promptly to security incidents and breaches.
  • Conducting incident triage, investigation, and initial remediation, escalating incidents as necessary.
  • Continually improving SOC processes and collaborating with the SOC team to enhance security tool alerts and rules.
  • Proactively scanning assets for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and mentoring other analysts.
  • Maintaining incident response plans and playbooks.
  • Participating in cybersecurity incident simulation activities.
  • Identifying and managing security risks, driving opportunities to improve security within client environments.
  • Addressing service requests and incidents from the business or other IT areas, ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) objectives are met.
  • Validating proper configuration and maintenance of security technologies.

Key requirements include:

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of incident analysis, security architecture, malware research, SOC, or similar experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of security tools including SIEM, IDS, and IPS, with vendor-specific certifications.
  • Familiarity with analyzing log information, packets, and security tool outputs.
  • Exposure to network devices, Microsoft Windows systems, UNIX systems, and enterprise security architecture.
  • Understanding of basic reverse engineering principles and malware.
  • Experience working as a SOC Analyst within a healthcare industry or for a healthcare environment is mandatory.
