Job Role:

A key position in delivering payroll services.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the full payroll cycle end-to-end, from interpreting time and attendance data and preparing payroll finalisation, through to banking, payroll clearing, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) reconciliation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll end-to-end processes, including payroll system finalisation through to banking, payroll clearing, and STP reconciliation.
  • Integrate and interpret time & attendance data, ensuring accurate flow of information into payroll systems.
  • Lead payroll compliance activities including PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, and end-of-month reconciliations.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to payroll team members, leaders, and employees.
  • Support system upgrades, process improvements, and payroll-related projects to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships across the business to deliver high-quality payroll services.
About You
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with payroll system finalisation, banking processes, payroll clearing, and STP reporting/reconciliation.
  • Experience with time & attendance (T&A) data integration, interpretation, and end-of-month processes.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to resolve complex payroll queries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems such as Chris21, SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar enterprise platforms.
