Role Summary

This role is about ensuring a seamless and efficient operation of the front office on a day-to-day basis, handling guest queries effortlessly.

About the Position

The overnight guest service officer plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the hotel. The focus is on a smooth and efficient night audit process and guest profile management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage daily front office operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Assist with auditing paperwork as directed by senior management.
  • Handle guest enquiries and internal feedback efficiently.
  • Be responsible for safety and security of the hotel and guests overnight.
  • Share knowledge and local expertise with guests.
  • Respond to emergencies within the hotel.

Key Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Possesses a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
  • Can work flexible rosters, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Holds excellent time management skills and can multitask under pressure.
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with service recovery skills.
  • Is RSA certified.
  • Has a full Australian driver's license.
