Key Responsibilities
Mills Recruitment is partnering with a trusted client to recruit a Tax/Advisory Manager for their accounting practice on a permanent basis.
Due to recent growth and structural changes, the firm is seeking an experienced Manager to manage tax compliance reporting for a client portfolio comprising businesses from various industry sectors with diverse turnover.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handling complex compliance work, including tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
- Managing and reviewing BAS, CGT, and FBT.
- Assisting with tax planning and requiring exceptional communication skills.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts, researching tax matters, and assisting with annual client budgets.
- Liaising with and building relationships with staff, clients, the ATO, and other relevant bodies.
- Providing advice to a large and varied client base.
- Managing and monitoring staff performance and conducting training sessions.
Requirements:
A minimum of 8+ years recent Australian tax and business services experience is required. Experience dealing directly with clients is essential, as is having excellent verbal and written skills. Exposure to large clients with multiple entities and structures with turnover exceeding $50mil is also necessary.
