Reliability Specialist

The role of Reliability Specialist is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes. As a key member of the factory maintenance team, you will play a vital part in identifying opportunities for improvement, reducing downtime, and implementing process enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting OFS/OEE meetings to review downtime and collaborating with supervisors on improvement activities.
  • Reviewing and updating area TPM boards, conducting audits, and analyzing downtime events.
  • Conducting daily analysis of downtime events, updating the daily lost unit log, and implementing countermeasures.
  • Weekly and monthly analysis and reporting of downtime events, including number of events, total time, and lost units.
  • Leading continuous improvement programs for significant downtime events.
  • Coordinating and analyzing preventative and predictive maintenance activities, including safety and compliance PMs.
  • Collaborating with contractors or maintenance teams for major repairs to plant equipment.
  • Reviewing and modifying maintenance PMs for effectiveness.
  • Coordinating weekly breakdown improvement meetings.
  • Planning and scheduling equipment improvement activities.
  • Ensuring follow-up improvement activities are tracked to completion.
  • Training and coaching maintenance personnel in reliability best practices.
  • Attending major breakdowns for root cause analysis, fault finding, documenting findings, creating work orders, and reporting out results.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Mechatronic/Mechanical).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within manufacturing or a sector with robotics.
  • Electrical background preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to handle intricate processes.
  • Understanding and compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work efficiently.
  • Adaptability to different situations.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Capacity to manage changes and multiple challenges simultaneously.
  • Can-do attitude and contribution to a positive team environment.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues.
