The Opportunity:

This newly established role within the Ophthalmology Business unit serves as the scientific liaison for engaging in scientific discussions with key opinion leaders. This position will involve working with our latest Ophthalmology product launch and participating in associated activities.

Your role will be field-based, covering the state of Queensland, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights into the local healthcare landscape and dynamics.
  • Support initiatives in Medical Education.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Gather field data to generate valuable medical insights.
  • Implement tactical engagement plans with the medical and scientific community for this product.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
  • Experience with pre-launch products and related activities.
  • Background as a pharmaceutical professional.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • PhD or MD preferred, but not mandatory.

Education:

  • Master's degree in science, business, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time role.
  • We value contributions to team success, ownership, and accountability.
  • Field-based position in Queensland with an expectation of 65% travel.
  • Candidates must possess full work rights in Australia.
