Role Overview
The Medical Science Liaison will serve as a strategic link between our organisation's scientific partners and thought leaders in the field of Oncology. This role requires a deep understanding of oncology, treatment options, and current issues in this therapeutic area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners to advance our organisation's scientific objectives.
- Collaborate with the medical affairs team to provide evidence-based scientific exchange and external insights with thought leaders.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans to support the medical affairs team's goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in oncology to provide expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field, such as Pharmacy, Nursing, or Science.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in medical affairs or clinical research in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably in Oncology.
- Strong scientific understanding and excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
- Ability to travel nationally with up to 80% travel and 4-6 weekends per year.
