About the Role

The Financial Reporting Specialist is part of the Corporate Services Unit and reports to the General Manager Finance & Business. The position requires you to provide assistance in maintaining annual budget information, preparation of budgets for Managers and Tenders, preparation and analysis of monthly financial reporting, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual acquittals, preparation of journals for income and expenditure, provide financial report analysis support to managers, funding reconciliations and performance monitoring, review of systems and processes to ensure efficient use of resources.

This is a Full-time opportunity within our Corporate Services Program. The position reports to the General Manager Finance and Business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and acquittals.
  • Provide financial report analysis support to managers.
  • Review and maintain annual budget information.
  • Prepare and review funding and other reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets for Managers and Tenders.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent accounting and financial management skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to produce a variety of financial reports and acquittals.
  • Demonstrated capacity to complete funding and other reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
