Job Opportunity: Lead Veterinarian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our team at South Eastern Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and leading our clinical team to deliver high-quality services.

About the Role:

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our veterinary team, ensuring the delivery of best practice patient care at all times.
  • Collaborate with our Practice Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency.
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical standards and protocols, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team.
  • Foster a culture of teaching and mentoring, supporting the growth and development of our veterinary team members.
  • Work closely with our team to build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • BVSc or equivalent veterinary degree and registration to practice in Australia.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience as a veterinarian, with a strong background in clinical leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
