Job Description
As a Performing Arts Educator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering an engaging Performing Arts program that caters to the diverse needs of our students with mild to severe intellectual and associated disabilities.
The Officer Specialist School is a purpose-built facility serving students with various abilities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a high-quality Performing Arts program that meets the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Monitor and assess student learning data to inform your teaching practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High quality teaching skills and knowledge of curriculum to implement individual plans assisting students with intellectual disability.
- Collaborative classroom teaching skills to continually improve teaching and learning.
- Ability to monitor and assess student learning data to inform teaching.
- High level written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills for working with students with challenging behaviors.
- Knowledge of and ability to develop and implement behavior management programs for students with challenging behaviors.
- Ability to plan and deliver a Performing Arts program.
