Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in offshore and subsea engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering leadership across project planning, site work, tender preparation, and execution.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, assign tasks, monitor progress, and foster growth.
  • Define and forecast manning needs; contribute to cost estimates, engineering task definitions, and control reports.
  • Generate and review technical documentation, including calculations, specifications, procedures, layouts, schematics, and equipment lists.
  • Lead hazard identification workshops; ensure engineering outputs meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with designers in Perth and Singapore; manage external partnerships.
  • Support offshore execution phases with technical oversight and ensure adherence to HSEQ guidelines.
  • Drive innovation and promote improvements in products, services, and processes, supporting new development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in subsea system design, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair. Experience with structural or naval architectural design.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, coordinate project activities, and manage resources to ensure timely delivery.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience in tender development, providing man hours, costs, and technical input. Ability to identify opportunities for project variations.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
