You will be presented with a mix of brownfield and greenfield projects in the areas of offshore and onshore infrastructure, floating/ fixed platform design and modifications, specialised equipment design and field developments.Working autonomously, overseeing a small team on larger projects or as the sole engineer on a smaller project, you will be required to solve complex problems with innovative design solutions including overseeing the fabrication, construction, and installation of your solutions.At ICON, we foster a flexible and collaborative team environment where you can take ownership of the projects you will work on, really challenge yourself with complex work and see your career thrive.About You B.
Eng in a relevant discipline.
Structural Engineering project experience from conceptual design through to installation.
Experience in detailed structural design on brownfield oil and gas projects, including producing calculations and reports, is ideal, but we are open to other related industry experience.
Being well versed with current offshore codes and specifications, including DNV, API, ISO, AISC, is preferred, but we can work with you to bring you up to speed.
Proficient with SPACE GASS or equivalent structural engineering software.
Working knowledge of SACS, Strand 7 or equivalent software is also desirable.
Flexibility to travel offshore for short durations is highly desirable.
