Job Title: Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced payroll administrator to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about payroll administration and wants to work in a challenging environment. As a payroll administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring that all payroll operations are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Deliver a high-quality, accurate, and timely payroll service across fortnightly and alternate weekly schedules.
  • Timesheet Management: Manage timesheet entries, new employee setups, record maintenance, and system updates.
  • Query Resolution: Respond to payroll queries and process necessary corrections promptly.
  • Benefits Administration: Accurately process quarterly incentives, annual wage increases, reclassifications, and promotions.
  • Award Interpretation: Interpret awards and agreements to facilitate accurate payroll delivery.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all payroll-related reporting obligations.
  • Reporting: Input, process, and verify weekly, monthly, and end-of-year payroll reporting.
  • System Maintenance: Manage wage uploads, Power BI reporting inputs, superannuation contributions, and leave records.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' payroll administration experience (desired).
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Fair Work / National Employment Standards, award interpretation, PAYG, HELP, and Superannuation obligations, payroll calculations and termination processes, Single Touch Payroll and Paid Parental Leave scheme, Workcover, industrial agreements and legislation, Superannuation and Long Service Leave Act.
  • Skill: Proficiency with payroll software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
