**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Duty Manager to provide leadership and supervision to assigned teams, overseeing daily operations and ensuring staff productivity.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and safe work environment for all employees and patrons visiting the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supervising staff to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations
  • Monitoring aquatic areas and ensuring aquatic ratios adhere to guidelines
  • Coordinating lifeguard rotations, conducting pool and facility checks, and responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Delivering excellent customer service and resolving enquiries and concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patrons and staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A National Police Check (issued in the last 6 months)
  • A DHS Working With Children Check
  • An International Criminal History Record Check (if worked overseas in the last 5 years)
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or equivalent qualification
  • HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent qualification
  • SISSS00133 Pool Lifeguard or equivalent qualification
  • SISSS00131 Aquatic Technical Operator or equivalent qualification
