Job Role:

Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

Job Overview:

We seek an accomplished Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to lead our team in delivering exceptional maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks, adhering to relevant airworthiness regulations and safety protocols.
  • Supervise and guide allocated technicians, apprentices, and assistants to guarantee efficient task execution.
  • Oversee the upkeep and housekeeping of hangar, workshop, or related work areas and vehicles, maintaining strict compliance with storage guidelines.
  • Exercise personal tool control and accountability for all used equipment.
  • Maintain conformance to the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and comply with Engineering Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) policies and procedures.
  • Support and promote a culture of Safety, Quality, and Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Leading hand, SBE, or BMPS.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License issued by Civil Aviation Authority Australia with applicable B1 categories.
  • Have a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent aircraft maintenance engineering apprenticeship training.
  • Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
  • Obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BAE 146 | ALF502.
  • DHC-8-Q400 | PW150.
Desired Attributes:
  • SAAB 340 / GE CT7.
  • DHC8-100/200/300 | PW100.
