Join our team to apply for the Aircraft Maintenance position at RAAF Base Williamtown NSW.

Job Details
  • Multiple positions available for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in Structures, Mechanical, Avionics & Armament.
  • Positions based in Williamtown NSW with relocation support available for those candidates based in Victoria.
About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance tasks on military aircraft. This includes maintaining, inspecting and undertaking fault diagnosis of avionic systems and components on fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or recognised training, and have Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance tasks on delegated and authorised levels.
  • Initiate quality, non-conformance or defect reporting relating to maintenance tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or recognised training (Mandatory).
  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Mandatory).
  • Experience or strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment.
