Role Overview:

We are recruiting for an experienced and friendly Sleep Apnoea Consultant/Pharmacy Assistant willing to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. Full training will be provided for the right candidate. This role is ideal for individuals from a pharmacy or healthcare background, but we are open to candidates from other backgrounds who are eager to learn and develop their skills.

  • Demonstrate and trial CPAP equipment
  • Sell CPAP machines, masks, and accessories
  • Provide ongoing patient care and monitoring
  • Analyse sleep data
  • Control stock and order CPAP machines
  • Clean and maintain CPAP machines within the pharmacy following customer trials
  • Work closely with suppliers and the pharmacist manager to provide excellent customer care
  • Administer and book patient appointments
  • Assist customers within the pharmacy when not attending to sleep apnoea duties
  • Maintain high standards of stock and consulting room presentation
  • Handle cash/EFTPOS transactions

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience with CPAP therapy or a closely related area will be highly regarded
  • Caring and committed to excellence in customer service
  • Professional and well-organized with good attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, honest, and reliable
  • Strong communication skills with good telephone etiquette
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
