The State of Queensland is seeking an experienced Senior Nursing Leadership Professional to join their team as Assistant Director of Nursing. This role provides strategic, operational, and professional nursing leadership for the Clinical Improvement Unit (CIU) within a complex environment.

About the Role:

  • Report professionally and operationally to the Director of Nursing (DON), CIU MSH.
  • Operational responsibility for CIU team members and various multidisciplinary project team members across Metro South.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary teams/portfolios including project and clinical design across Metro South.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide contemporary strategic, operational, and professional nursing leadership and management for the CIU.
  • Collaborate with the DON to provide coordination and responsibility for service delivery, human and material management, expertise in healthcare team communication, and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management.
  • Ensure robust budgetary compliance and efficiencies.
