About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating inclusive classrooms that support student wellbeing and learning, and using effective behaviour management and building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Create inclusive classrooms that support student wellbeing and learning.
  • Use effective behaviour management and build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Assess, track and report on student progress.

As a secondary school teacher in the Northern Territory, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, including those from Indigenous backgrounds, and contribute to the development of a culturally responsive and inclusive education system.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $92,215 - $131,349 per year, 17.5% leave loading, 12 weeks of annual leave, relocation assistance and remote living benefits, salary packaging options, flexible working arrangements, furnished housing and extra allowances for some remote roles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered or eligible teacher with the Teacher Registration Board NT, able to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and meet any other requirements specified by the department.
