
Waste Management and Resource Recovery Project Officer

The role of a Project Support Specialist involves providing a range of data reporting and project support services to meet the business needs of the team/unit.
Key responsibilities include responding to and resolving enquiries and issues, managing records and databases, and assisting the project team to complete tasks and implement project plans.
Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of environmental issues, NSW government policy, and project management skills. They will also have experience in preparing end of month financial reporting and trend analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of environmental issues, in relation to waste management and resource recovery
- Understanding of NSW government policy as it relates to waste management and resource recovery
- Project management skills and experience in the delivery of projects to achieve behaviour change and improve waste management and resource recovery practice
- Experience in the preparation of end of month financial reporting and trend analysis
