About the Role
The Emergency Department at Ballarat Health Services provides critical care services to the community, with a team of dedicated professionals working together to deliver high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse in this department, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including primary and secondary surveys, to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, in consultation with the medical team.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Critical Care Nursing (Emergency Specialist).
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
