Health Contract Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Health Contract Specialist.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Review and analyse health service agreements to ensure alignment with legal, financial and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate the contract process, including review and execution of funding agreements with health services.
  • Develop and maintain robust procedures to support the operational team, ensuring consistency and providing reports on contract status.
  • Oversight and maintenance of industry awards and financial terms as relating to contracts.
  • Collaboration with Finance to ensure funds are allocated appropriately and in line with reporting requirements and reconciliations.
  • Coordination and leadership of operational and administrative duties, including contract templates, status and tracking, and ensuring records within data management systems are accurately maintained.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a business administration field, experience in contract management, procurement, business administration, project expenditure and delivering organisational outcomes.

A strong background in administration, contract and data management is critical to success in this role, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
