Lead Diverse Learning Team Member

Job Description

The Lead Diverse Learning Team Member provides creative and dynamic leadership in all areas relating to the inclusivity of students, particularly those in need of additional support or with specific needs. This role plays an integral part in fulfilling the College's strategic imperative of providing all students access to learning programs based on the SACE and Australian Curriculum as well as implementing pedagogies that support high-quality, inclusive learning environments.

They will work collaboratively with site-specific inclusive education leaders, colleagues, parents/caregivers and external agencies to oversee the construction, implementation and ongoing review of Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs) and the support structures necessary to support students. The Lead Diverse Learning Team Member will also have oversight of the processes and quality assurance of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), Gifted & Talented programs and student intervention opportunities.

Key responsibilities include leading and supporting the Diverse Learning Team, managing schedules and resources, overseeing NCCD processes and documentation, managing and supporting students with additional needs, facilitating Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs), handling enrollment and transitions, driving staff development for effective support of diverse learners, assisting with curriculum and assessment adjustments, developing learning pathways, coordinating with external consultants and Allied Health Professionals, addressing critical incidents, managing budgets, supporting recruitment, and ensuring a safe working environment.
