About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Control Systems Engineer to join our Technology Integration team in Cameron Park NSW.

Ampcontrol's specialist Automation team offers customers in the mining, water, tunnelling, infrastructure, utilities and energy sectors the benefit of combined engineering and technology capabilities, primarily in automation, process control and software and communications technology solutions.

About You

Your willingness to get hands-on in a diverse engineering environment will be complemented by the following:

  • Safety as a core value
  • PLC and SCADA programming skills (competency with Contrologix and Unity (PLC), CitectSCADA, FactoryTalk View, ClearSCADA, Siemens, Beckhoff preferred)
  • Some understanding of industrial networking and bus systems
  • Process control and automated systems knowledge
  • Experience with electrical switchgear and control systems
  • Exposure to control system network design for mining, industrial or power distribution sectors
  • Skills and expertise in networking and communications (CISCO, Microsoft certifications), programming and project delivery – advantageous
  • Skills with software and IoT Solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of multidiscipline teams
