Role Overview

We are currently seeking casual rail track labourers for rail operations in Sydney NSW.

This role offers great career prospects with a tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Removing and replacing worn and damaged rails, sleepers and switches.
  • Spotting machinery and mobile plant (such as excavators, rollers etc).
  • Using powered hand tools and equipment.
  • Site clean-up (clearing of debris and manual handling).

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.
  • Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry.
  • Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
  • Cert II in Rail Infrastructure.
  • RISI - Safely Access the Rail Corridor & Valid CAT 3 Medical.
  • Valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'.
  • Ability to pass a pre employment medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
