Randstad Australia is seeking a reliable and physically capable Pick Packer/Manual Handler to support the NSW Local Government Elections 2024 in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lift and move cartons weighing up to 15kg safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, sort, and organize pallets and other materials as needed.
  • Set up tables and chairs for operational activities.
  • Operate a pallet jack to move pallets within the facility, ensuring proper positioning and safety.
  • Transport materials and equipment throughout the facility as required.
  • Perform limited scanning with a mobile device for tracking ballot papers.
  • Assist with receipt and dispatch reconciliation and courier manifests as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with manual handling, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in manual handling roles preferred.
  • Must wear Steel Toe Caps.
  • Experience as a Pick Packer/Worker.
  • Ability to lift up to 15kg.
