Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of curricula related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.

  • Developing Curricula: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality curricula that reflect the perspectives and needs of Indigenous Australians.
  • Promoting Cultural Competency: They will also play a key role in promoting cultural competency among staff and students, including the delivery of training programs and workshops.
  • Conducting Research: The candidate will have the opportunity to undertake research in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, with a focus on publishing findings and contributing to academic literature.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: This role requires strong collaboration and leadership skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with health educators, professionals, and community partners to build capacity in culturally sensitive learning pedagogies.
Requirements
  • Doctoral qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience in tertiary curriculum development, particularly in relation to Indigenous Australian perspectives
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team
