Job Role:

Expert mental health care is provided to adults aged 65 and above who are experiencing mental illness, dementia with behavioural or age-related signs of longstanding mental illness.

This service offers short-term and long-term mental health care solutions.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or an equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification, preferably also holding a Certificate of Advanced Training in Psychiatry of Old Age or accredited membership of the Faculty of Psychiatry of Old Age.
