Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic objectives, strategies and plans to achieve allocated targets;
  • Originate and underwrite property business risks, including the development of business with specific target accounts;
  • Design timely and customised insurance solutions that add value and profitability for both clients and Swiss Re;
  • Assess and underwrite business in accordance with established guidelines and processes and within stated authorities;
  • Manage property business by providing high-quality, timely and appropriate underwriting service and support to clients, including timely and accurate documentation.

About You:

  • Strong background in underwriting mid-market & corporate property risks;
  • Knowledge of Australian mid-market and corporate property and broker markets and their trends;
  • Tertiary or ANZIIF qualified (preferred);
  • Ability to develop and maintain profitable client relationships;
  • Client-focused with strong marketing skills;
  • Able to communicate and professionally interact with people from different levels/locations of the organisation;
  • Well-organised/strong time management skills; and
  • Self-motivated, ambitious & takes own initiative to achieve goals.
