Job Title: School Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised school administrator to join our team.

  • School Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our small distance education school.
  • They will work closely with the school leadership and teaching staff to maintain a welcoming and organized atmosphere that reflects our values.
  • The role encompasses a broad range of administrative and organisational tasks, supporting both the academic and spiritual aspects of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support:
    • Data entry and record keeping
    • Managing school correspondence and accounts receivable
    • Enrolments and coordinating special events
  • Student Administration:
    • Enrolment and induction of new students
    • Paying fees and managing school purchasing
  • Academic Support:
    • Scheduling and events planning
    • Assessment and term planning
  • Staff Support:
    • Providing resources and support to staff
  • Facility Management:
    • Maintenance and security of school facilities
    • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in administration or commensurate experience
  • Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom
  • Secretarial experience including minute taking and meeting management
  • Experience with Daymap, G-suite, Filemaker and SAP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Current blue card and eligibility to work in Australia
