Mobile Maintenance Supervisor Job Overview

As a mobile maintenance supervisor, you will oversee the performance of open pit mining fleets to ensure safety, availability, and operational targets are met. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the mobile asset integrity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage major contractor relationships, including quarterly reviews and invoice approvals.
  • Monitor and address key performance indicator variances, labor overruns, and review contract claims promptly.
  • Ensure best pricing for non-standard responsibilities and allocate costs accurately within relevant departments.
  • Approve variations and review all purchase orders before finalizing.
  • Monitor tyre performance, purchase, maintenance, and contractor tyre management program to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular pit tours to assess hauling conditions and collaborate with the Open Pit Superintendent.
