Salary Information

New rates as of July 2024: Maintenance Trades (Mechanical)

  • Level 1 - $45.57 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)
  • Level 2 - $49.05 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)
  • Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $52.55 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)
Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with UGL, a Tier 1 services provider, in a long-term operations and maintenance contract within the Defence sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
  • Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
  • Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
  • Support subcontracted work packages as required
  • Support various sites in the region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout QLD.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas.
  • Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
