About the Role

The Communication and Engagement Officer plays a key role in supporting the Stakeholder Engagement stream within the Next Generation Computer Aided Dispatch (Next Gen CAD) Project Team. Your primary objective will be to provide strategic engagement and communication that enables the successful implementation of the Next Gen CAD platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder communication and engagement, including planning, tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Provide detailed secretariat function for key stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support the development and review of communication materials and artefacts across the project.
  • Respond to changing priorities and demands with an adaptive, resilient, and flexible approach.

About You

We are looking for a skilled professional who has qualifications or relevant transferable experience in Project Management or Communications disciplines. Key skills and attributes required include:

  • Proven experience in contributing to the delivery of communication and engagement for complex projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a variety of stakeholders and demonstrable facilitation and liaison skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and personal presentation.
  • Stakeholder focused and exceptionally skilled at developing and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, process-minded, and able to work resiliently with multiple priorities.
