About the Role

  • Develop and implement effective conservation strategies that respect and value Indigenous knowledge and culture
  • Work closely with our Indigenous Ambassador to empower Indigenous Australians to take action against invasive species
  • Conduct research and gather information on culturally significant species at risk from invasive species
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings with allied groups, decision-makers, and key stakeholders
  • Develop and distribute materials to promote the program of Indigenous conservation leadership through various campaign tactics
